My dad sent me this crazy video about how covid was based on snake venom, and how nicotine and ivermectin block receptors in your brain that perpetuate an autoimmune disease that results.

Sounds crazy, but it's pretty reasonable and persuasive. Anyone have opinions about this theory?

Both nicotinic acid and ivermectin have multiple mechanisms of action (like doxycycline for example), so it could be a lot of different things
