I would say it depends on your fiat cash flow needs. If you don't need it, holding corn is favorable. Thus, it shouldn't affect home ownership but may reduce a good share of rental property investmentss.

Yeah i am thinking specifically of serious investoors who own enough rental properties to have ample cashflow and would sell homes #7-15 for corn once “it” hits them for an alternative long term, and more hands-off investment

Yup. I did exactly that in 2022.
