The Czechs snap their fingers at kings. They laugh at popes. When they built up tyrants, they brought them down again.

It was here in Prague that the Czechs lodged the word defenestration firmly in our dictionaries by literally throwing representatives of an oppressive international order out of a window to protect their freedoms.

Not once. Not twice. But three times.

It was here in Bohemia that many peasants refused to fight for their imperial overlords in WWI. It was here in Czechia that the first bullets against an occupying nazi force were fired. It was a Prague Spring that exposed the evil of the Soviet empire to the whole world.

Many Czechs died on those hills, but their children giggle and eat ice cream in past palaces.

Because it was also here in Prague that the corrosive corruption of communism was finally thrown off in a revolution so peaceful we call it velvet. A moment in history that should be of endless inspiration to any bitcoiner who despairs at our entrenched fiat system.
