I don't have a good eye for these sort of things so take my advice with a grain of salt.

The composition looks fine to me.

The lighting is to dark. Your product doesn't stand out and "pop"

As far as colors go, I like simple white or black background, but I'm sure other colors that contrast nicely would look good.
