I think it would pop with a light pastel background color as opposed to the current white. Also, warmer diffused lighting and a wood or plant accent somewhere would balance the metallic packaging.

I don't have a good eye for these sort of things so take my advice with a grain of salt.

The composition looks fine to me.

The lighting is to dark. Your product doesn't stand out and "pop"

As far as colors go, I like simple white or black background, but I'm sure other colors that contrast nicely would look good.
