Looking for advice.

Like a lot of people here, I'm finishing up my first Bitcoin cycle. My stack is nowhere big enough to retire, but I've built up enough of a knowledge base that I feel that have something more to offer the space.

I have a good, stable career... but I can't keep going with it. I can feel the life force being drained from my body, and I need to be arond Bitcoiners. It's time for me to find something where I'm building the world I want to see.

Any advice on how to write a cover letter for a Bitcoin job?

Tune the cover letter to each position and company you're applying for, and keep it personal.

My advice, find your local Bitcoin meetup or start your own. This will get you in regular contact with IRL bitcoiners and is a great resume builder for a potential future Bitcoin job. Plus no permission, and no application needed.

Thanks! I've been running my local meetup for over 2 years. We went from 2-3 people to at least a dozen per meetup. The meetups have been vital in keeping my sanity!

Every job where you provide value to someone and are able to save in bitcoin, is a Bitcoin job. The author of Man’s Search for Meaning said in the end that he saw it as being responsible. That’s how I see it, but I look at it in circles. Start with yourself, extend towards your family, and some can grow that to their community. I see this through my best friend, a veteran who retrained and became an electrician, mastered his craft, provided for his family, then started his own business that hired from within his community taking on apprentices and teaching the next generation.

When people see you thriving and want to know your secret tell them your story “It was me, doing XYZ and we did it on a Bitcoin Standard”.

Probably not super helpful, but that’s my two sats. Good luck brother

paste the job position description and your resume into AI, and ask it with a detailed prompt to write a cover letter, then edit down into your voice
