Do you ever think that we all live our lives backward, nowadays?

I'm finally almost-free of my biggest responsibilities and I'm relaxing and having fun, but everyone thinks it's really terrible and undignified for a woman my age to be having fun. They tell me that having fun is for young, carefree women and I should be serious and matronly now.

I hardly spent any time as a young, carefree woman, tho. They were having fun without me.
