Gotcha.

Unfortunately, the developer didn't take up the offer of the video's author to share his side of the story with a pretty big audience. Instead he seemed to attack the author and responded pretty unprofessionally.

I don't know what he's going through, but it seems like bad choices were made.

Oh I'm sure he's made mistakes, sometimes a person gets stuck in a loop of being belligerent and over committed so they double down on something they know is wrong. This kind of interpersonal drama tends to ratchet up, and Louis keeping on it thinking the developer will eventually see reason and grow as a person is obviously not working. I believe he should let it rest and hopefully the dev finds peace through other means; there's plenty of my own mistakes I dwell on, situations I could have handled differently, things I shouldn't have said, guilt and shame on my part, and eventually I confront those and try to learn from it; let that be the devs teacher, not arguing with him at a dead end.

I'm not defending his actions, I'm forgiving his humanity.
