Solar panels themselves are almost silent on the nnEMF front. The trouble starts with the electronics that manage & monitor them, especially the inverter and any wireless reporting gear. Dirty electricity becomes the heavyweight concern, followed by occasional RF bursts that send performance data to the installer or the utility. Magnetic and electric fields are usually minimal if wiring is done in metal conduit and the current on the outgoing and return conductors is balanced.

- Pick a low-noise inverter

- Whole-house DE filter at the panel (Satic Power Perfect Box, PQFilter)

- Park the inverter outdoors, in metal conduit

Enphase micro-inverters & SolarEdge HD Wave string inverters put out the least Dirt electricity compared with most competitors; Sunny Boy from SMA in Germany is also relatively quiet.
