Dumb question: I’ve tried generating a lightning address from my Muun wallet and adding it to my profile here… Nostr isn’t accepting it because it isn’t an email address and doesn’t start with LNURL… Does that mean I need to find a different wallet that is compatible with Nostr? Or am I just doing something wrong with Muun?

Yes, you need a lightning wallet that has an @ address that looks like an email address.

Wallet of Satoshi is the easiest solution for receiving zaps via this method. Just be sure to withdraw your BTC regularly as WoS is custodial.

Breez is my favorite LN wallet for sending zaps, which is self custodial.

I’ve just verified and starting to use Nostr more. Should these relays be up or is it my acct? Thanks! 😀

Relays sometimes go down temporarily. That’s ok. However, if you notice some relays are consistently down, might as well remove them

Thanks, will keep an eye on them 👍

Done. Thank-you!

I noticed bitrefill gives you a lightning address, @bitrefill.me, it seems to work fine and handy if you use them often. But you'll probably need to set up your own node on the cloud or reverse proxy to your personal server at home for anything major.

Wallet of Satoshi = Nostr Bank

Phoenix Wallet = Self Custody Lightning

BlueWallet x HWW = On-Chain Vault

Do not use Muun wallet.

Easiest is to use an app like Wallet of Satoshi.

Quick to setup and connect to your Nostr Client.
