Naming your kid after the 12 tribes of Israel or anyone else in the old testament used to be normal. It's turned into a woman's naming schema.

I'm afraid we are stuck with Gaelic, English, Germanic that don't match the above pattern, and new testament names for the foreseeable. There are some pretty masculine names in the NT, for example: Thaddaeus, Phillip, James, Barnabas, Stephan, Cornelius, Claudius, Titus, Tiberius, Felix, Herod and many more. The list is rich.
