One possible housing crisis solution? A new kind of public housing for all income levels

Maryland's Montgomery County is building mixed-income apartments in which people who can afford to pay market rate allow other renters to pay less. Cities and states nationwide are taking up the idea. #press

A very interesting novel idea to let those who can pay market rates, compensate builders enough that lower incomes can also get an apartment at a caped rate. Imagine how many more apartments could get built if all the apartments were rented or sold at the market rate instead of being forced to sell or rent for below the market rate. 🤔 If a little market economy is good let’s try a little more.
