I’m too old. How do you deal with an email from a young person saying what is planned and they say (any pronouns) in brackets? When i saw her i assumed it meant she thought it was all ridiculous, so i said oh i see you’re not into all the BS then. Oh shit I was wrong

I'd personally take the extremely old school approach and pretend I'm writing a letter to "The Times" (I've never actually done this) but no matter who they're written by, or addressed to, start. Dear Sir.
