What does this quote mean in your life right now?

For me it means to be patient with my students and don’t expect them to succeed immediately.

And for you?

Yes patience and also letting go of the idea, that this potential must be discovered.

Also when we see the spark in someone, we have the opportunity to point it out to them, to encourage them, to offer to look at it. It doesn't mean that the person is ready for it. And we should accept that and letting go of the idea. It's about putting a seed into the soil.... Besides, we never know if they are meant to discover it in this life time... It's not in our hands...

Thank you!

My partner sent me this today:

“You don't need to become someone, just be someone! ✨🤍✨”

Just read this in the book I am reading which kind of fits to the quote you posted:

originally in German:

"Natürlich bedeutet ein Potenzial nicht automatisch die Fähigkeit dazu, da dies nach dem Entschluss dazu erst entwickelt werden muss."

Translated in English:

"Of course, having potential does not automatically mean having the ability, as the ability must first be developed after making the decision to pursue it."

Yes, and its totally up to the individual how fast or if at all this ability wants to be explored

means you can open the door but you cannot push anyone in.

I love it! Show the door but don’t tell them to walk through it
