Should we have the option to set how much a zap vote can be when we make a poll, so we can actually quantify results?

Setting a single zap amount makes sense otherwise the poll isn't acting like a poll at all.
If the person wants to give more sats to the poll author then they can easily zap the containing note.
That is my opinion as well
Also somehow making it so that you can only vote once would be nice, or maybe of you do vote more than once your extra votes don't show in the final tally, effectively wasting the extra votes.

I'm pretty sure that is part of the nip, it just hasn't been implemented in a client yet. nostr:npub1mgxvsg25hh6vazl5zl4295h6nx4xtjtvw7r86ejklnxmlrncrvvqdrffa5 had mentioned this previously, and he is the one who developed this I believe.
Good to hear some thought has been put into it! Because aside from just being fun, votes are kind of not useful for their intended purpose right now π
