The biggest problem in general is that it is not standard dev work. Who wants to start doing it? Who has the skills AND time?

Nostr.build is the most standard infra out there, literally; php/Apache/AWS

I don’t love it, but it’s easy, cheap, reliable, and can get us to the next phase of evolution.

There’s a project called picsur I saw a few days ago, nostr.build should adopt it.

Picsur is more the personal image hosting. It will not scale cheaply. Sores images in Postgres and no support for object storage.
