Since leaving twitter I have realized how little of what I saw there had any real consequences in my life.

Any news of actual importance makes its way to me within hours or days of it happening.

I also don't feel any need to talk with people who want to argue about topics which have already been settled (shitcoins, Marxism, ect).

I understand the appeal of being hyper-informed and connected, but the spaciousness of my mental state takes priority.

Signal > Noise

That was my calculation anyway. Everyone makes their own assessment.
