Spain began tracking peer-to-peer transfers (called Bizum), prompting people to resist by requesting cash only.

The rest of the EU continues to follow the same totalitarian logic by promoting the Digital Euro (CBDC). But there is hope that people will resist.

In Brazil, P2P transfers are called Pix, and its own CBDC is on track to be implemented, but there, people prefer convenience over privacy or freedom.

Even in Spain, there are limits; they vote for socialism, but they resist this type of control. In Brazil, nothing; if they block Twitter, it's because “the government must have some legitimate reason.” A thoroughly slave mentality.
