Twitter blue is paying to access a network for branding.. better to zap your own network you've built, than pay to access one someone else has control over.
It is that but more. If you'd ever had any of your followers scammed by fake accounts (I have) you'd see it a bit differently. 8 bucks is chump change, but in this case the principle is too much at stake.
I won't contribute to any company that puts a WEF full on marxist pile of human shit in charge of itself.
I made an advertising expenditure that also prevented my 20K followers from being scammed. If it wasn't making me well over 8 bucks a month in profit I'd never have been there.

Gonna say 99% of all Twitter Blue users are running businesses, etc. Almost no one saying that we are "paying for twitter" runs or ever ran a business of any significance.
Twitter nets me a good profit monthly and grows my listeners, members, bottom line. I am walking away on principle over profit.

I like the idea of budgeting a zap amount. 30,000/mo (1k/day) seems like a reasonable amount; easy enough to add to a lightning wallet on a regular schedule. Maybe have a separate Zap wallet. 🤔
