"We brought our Costco watermelon home and set it on the kitchen counter when it started foaming. Barbara googled it and it said to remove it from the house immediately, it’s likely to explode due to fermenting. We put it in a plastic garbage bag and carefully lowered it into our garbage can outside. Just noticed this morning that the watermelon exploded and blew a hole in the bottom of the garbage can.
