I would like to pay my credit card bill with Strike fiat balance. If this were possible, I don't think it would be a taxable event.
If you used BitPay, Strike, Spritz or any other service to pay bills in the US (mortgage, electricity, student loan, etc), Iām curious to hear about your experience: https://stacker.news/items/856337/r/phaedrus

At that point it's like using any other bank account. I guess the benefit is that you can have a single balance?
I haven't used Strike recently, but when I last did, it was possible to create an invoice from the fiat section that was payable with on chain or lightning bitcoin. So, load Strike fiat balance with (non kyc?) bitcoin, and use that to pay bills. Taxable? Perhaps, but I don't think Strike reports anything for this. But as I said, it's been awhile, so maybe that's changed.
Would be great if someone could confirm this nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle ?
