My favorite omelette here locally went from $12 to $16 since June.

My standard zap amount went from being worth 3 cents to 4 cents in the same time period.

Decreasing value vs increasing value.

Just spinach, bacon and peppers, but it’s yummy. It’s not even close to the most expensive omelette on the menu. They have seafood omelettes that are pushing $24. Food is very pricey in HI in general.

Not in HI and we aren’t talking about a fancy restaurant at a hotel. It’s a small local restaurant. $16 is actually one of the cheaper omelettes on the menu.

True. But also to be fair we are coming out of a bear market. Most recently at the start of 2022 we lost value as bitcoiners against USD and as I was still spending bt c(and replacing where I could). Some of the drops hurt a lot. But for sure on the long arc we are getting better value. #bitcoin

I understand and agree. Five year time horizon is what I tell my friends and family to ease the pain of short term volatility.
