The study of walls

Is there a word for this? All three photos were taken of the walls at St James’s church in Bramley, Hampshire. I’ll write a full length post on the place because there is a lot to share, some very interesting history there.

Please check out my https://nick-lewis.npub.pro as I’ve recently updated it a little bit. I’m considering a custom domain for it.

“Murialogy”

Derived from the Latin word murus (meaning “wall”) and the Greek suffix -logy (meaning “the study of”), murialogy would imply a formal or academic discipline concerned with the structure, function, history, or sociology of walls.
