i don't remember when i first heard that cray cray shit but i think it was late 80s, and i always thought it was retarded
literally some kind of "funny" way to say "you don't agree with my final story about the universe because I AM YOUR GOD" and for the same reason it gets on my nerves as well
also, it's a notable thing, that making a sharp comment and then blocking is a really strong message on this medium of internet forum... or at least, it makes you feel better, and you don't see their horseshit again
