I have decided to go Linux only for Nostr and ditch amethyst.

This is probably a blessing in disguise. I have been spending way too much time on my phone. Time to start getting serious about FOSS development. Going to set aside 2 hours per day for nostr max. Rapid fire memes and responses like a boss.

Gotta do this to be more productive with my life and get serious about development work as a full time profession. This is the only way.

I have very mixed feelings about 1911's.

On the one hand I really want one, because they are a part of my American heritage. They are badass and definitely an amazing firearm to have in your collection.

On the other hand they have poor magazine capacity and supposedly can be a little more difficult to maintain. As well as their reliability is not as on par with some of my other pistols.

I think in the end I will wind up owning one someday. However it will probably be in a limited edition collectors case that will sit there, look pretty, and get used maybe once every couple of years for shits and giggles.

Amethyst is a fantastic nostr client.

It is the main developer who is untrustworthy.

If I do not trust the main developer. Then I do not trust the client. He has proven himself time and time again to be shady as fuck. So I am getting the fuck out while I still can.

Am I seriously going to resort to researching everything on this meme? I guess so. Unless someone wants to help me right now.
