Some nostriches have abandoned their NIP-05s including #[0]. Verification not that important?

He posted a note about why he’s not a fan of NIP-05 before. Doubt I’ll manage to find it though ..

It’s not really verification. I could register @davies on any site. It should be called an “alias” as opposed to verification.

It really only works as verification if you own the domain that issues the verification.

We’ve pretty much settled on calling in a Nostr address.

Normies are gonna go nuts seeing an email, LN and Nostr address together 😂

It’s all good though as all of these will eventually merge into a single one

We need better search. I wanted to retrieve some of my own earlier notes before but it’s too much effort

Some clients provide better search than others. I feel like the ones that collaborated with #[4] are better.
