I was at the Bitcoin policy summit this summer but otherwise no. I'm still pretty new to the community myself. Had a weird calling last December and randomly was like, "oh I need to get off traditional social media and also get off fiat currency" it's been a lot of big changes and I've felt a bit insane. But I've been in good company here on Nostr 😅
small meetups are the best, where you get to face to face with people, and learn their names. really nothing compares to real life eye contact. it’s only natural anyway. the cool thing I’ve found is you can just show up to any meetup when traveling regardless of where you live and instantly you can find your people (even if we might bicker and disagree over highly controversial topics like core vs knots or bits vs sats)
