Too much energy is spent trying to get the attention of big brands to adopt Bitcoin as a treasury asset, while almost no one is talking about the businesses that actually stand to gain the most from Bitcoin adoption—small, independent companies that make things Bitcoiners actually want.
Bitcoiners are a rabid customer base who want to buy Quality Products from Quality Businesses that align with their values. I’ve felt this firsthand with Peony Lane and can only imagine what could happen if more small businesses saw the opportunity in front of them.
The reality is, we as individuals have no control over Bitcoin’s price. We can’t magically make adoption happen overnight. But we do have the power to speed up the transition to a circular Bitcoin economy by doing what we already do—spending our money with businesses that are open to Bitcoin.
Here’s the thing: People follow incentives. Businesses chase where the demand is. If more companies see Bitcoiners as a dedicated, high-intent customer base, they’ll naturally start integrating Bitcoin payments—not because they read a book about Austrian economics, but because Bitcoiners showed up and proved that Bitcoin is good for business.
That’s why I’m working on a new project with nostr:npub1jcr32x73453qdjp9wplk5kp6mxhdzttrvl4dvfhtyj3f8punn2hqds3whq where we travel the country meeting founders where they are at, to see how we can introduce them to bitcoiners and bitcoiners to them. We want to make it as easy and obvious as possible for them to adopt bitcoin because once that happens, we think bitcoiners will take the wheel

He was blown away with the support he saw on NOSTR instantly and figured out how to integrate Bitcoin payments on his site with the help of random nostriches (not us). You'll see/learn more about this trip in the weeks to come, but lets just say, it made me extremely bullish about this mission we are on.
We all want to exit the fiat matrix. We all want to live off Bitcoin. The fastest way to make that a reality? Make Bitcoin commerce impossible to ignore. We can make the change that we want to see.
