Here’s the new case I got for my Raspberry Pi 4, used for umbrel.

It looks sturdy and nice but it’s missing filters so I expect a ton of dust soon. Not happy about that.

The rubber feet might melt too. I think that’s what happened with the old one.

Lights are sorta cool but all the more reason for my 2 yo to grab it and rip it out of the cords 😭

Kinda loud too!

May not keep long term but ok for now.

There are some good silent cases as round with massive heat sinks.

I kinda like the pur of a fan though. Reminds me of the important work going on in the background whilst I shitpost. 😂

😆

I use one of these heatsink cases. Gets a little bit toasty but looks cool and is silent.

Might get one of those later. Looking at tiny pcs too

I have some old Thinkpads that I'm currently not using. I'm definitely turning one of them into a node soon and probably replacing my RPi in the medium term.

Dell OptiPlex Micro’s are decent. Cheap second hand as well.

Ty for the tip!

Nice 🤗

Lol ur profile pic

are you happy with umbrel on a raspberry pi? I startet also with this setup, but everything feels slow… now on a nuc and it feels much better.

Yeah it does feel slow 😞

Cool project 🙏

Check out the range here. I’ll be happy to post one to you if that helps.
