Replying to Avatar Roaming

I have an idea to help nostr clients fund themselves if it is even possible. Each client runs its own lightning node and create a channel from the client to the node. So they become the first channel for transfering zaps (sats) and gets the fees for routing the payment. What do you think viable or not? #[0] #[1] #[2] #[3]

This would introduce a single point of failure. Controlled by the app creator. Kind of what we try to get away from.

That said, I wouldn't mind have it preloaded as a preferred channel. As long as their are configurable alternatives.

Good point. The #[2] is using its own wallet. Depends on the risk but atlease it is only a zap risk and not a relay risk. The network will continue but payments will fail.
