What is the material & what kind of print is it?
I'm doing tensile tests on 6 different Polymmaker PLA, I made the test coupons in solidworks based on polymakers tech specs. They are .0.2mm layer height and 100% infill.
This was something I wanted to do before I graduated but I never got the time for personal projects. I pretty much have free range in the school lab to do stuff like this and learn more about the different processes.
Next week I will be looking at these parts in the microscopy lab to further explore the failures and learn more about fracture mechanics.
