Sometimes we cling to music to get through different parts of our lives.

Post Malone is my therapist.

He got me through building my career 7~8 years ago, and the most painful breakup imaginable.

Unfortunately, it means music I loved now hurts like hell when I hear it because it brings all those painful emotions back.

Not sure if I’ll ever stop hurting from when she broke my heart.

I’m trying: underwent months of therapy for this specifically.

All I want is to feel her softness again… 😔

Music can be so therapeutic, until that happens… then it’s listening to new music to offset the triggers that the old music triggered. Hopefully you can find something to ease your pain.

Thank you. 🙏

I’ve found many things to ease the pain, but I don’t think it’ll ever fully go away.

Part of me will always hurt…

Will update it at a later block-height if that ever changes, but the wealthier I become over time, the more I predict it will hurt😔

All I can tell you is to get yourself exercising.. You get to experience a success every time you finish that 6 mile walk, or 15 mile bike ride.. It's cathartic. It focuses your mind. I can attest to working through issues in my life because of the focus exercise, specifically jogging gave to me. To this day, and we're talking decades.. Grab those jogging shoes, and walk out that door. A half hour out, and a half hour back.. Soon you'll be driving to different locations for walks all over the place!

There is science behind this.

The alternating signals from left to right is the basis of EDMR therapy. The common ‘going for a walk’ to think about things lets other parts of your brain offer perspective on what you’re pondering/struggling with.
