For those recently debating #Bitcoin vs. #Monero...

Bitcoin is the open protocol for all.

There is no debate with Bitcoin—its design is built on transparency and equal access. Anyone, anywhere, can freely access the source code, compile it, run it, and verify it. Every node on the Bitcoin network operates independently, enabling transactions on Layer-1 with trustless precision.

The question of block size? That’s just noise. Bitcoin’s foundation is consensus, not coercion, and its network thrives on honesty and mathematical certainty.

Each individual has the freedom to explore, research, and decide where they stand. Bitcoin’s evolution continually invites new minds to test, learn, and grow. The choice of where to focus attention and what to believe always lies with the individual.

Other systems, like Monero, may prioritize total anonymity, but true money isn’t meant to be completely hidden. Bitcoin balances transparency with security, offering an open and verifiable ledger. Its decentralized network ensures monetary policy and supply are visible and secure, backed by the energy it takes to protect it.

Bitcoin is a teacher. It rewards those who seek to understand, not just believe. As its network continues to expand, it welcomes everyone—students and skeptics alike.

There’s no debate, only choice. Bitcoin is open for you to explore.

bro.

we've been debating the trade-offs of Bitcoin for years,

but I'm so glad you posted this to put an end to all the uncertainty!

just to start

tell me why "true money isnt meant to be completely hidden."

because so far

we've NEVER had a money that was global and auditable by anyone with an Internet connection.

never ever.

and also

literally every other point you make,

however vague and word-salad-ey,

is also true for Monero.

so basically you're just waxing poetic.

I get it. We've all been there.

but eventually

you have to actually *learn the specifics and understand the trade-offs.

nothing is perfect and we are operating in an adversarial environment.

"True money isn't meant to be completely hidden" 😂

Fiat has been doing just find for millennia without you ever knowing the where it is. Nobody realistically uses a boomer coin as money, it is a collection article that deserves it's place in a museum but isn't money either.

Monero is the closest thing in the crypto world that can be called as money, because it is used on the real world to buy real stuff rather than just "hodling".

You: "If Monero advocates had stronger arguments, this would be the perfect place to test them"

Also you: "There is no debate with Bitcoin"

LOL

their post reads as engagement farming

send me your bitcoin address

what's that ?

you don't want me knowing your entire past present and future financial history !?!?

here's my monero address, try and do the same
