What is Intellectual Property?
Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce.
Now, if you just scroll down a bit further you would see the different types of Ip and that most of them need active registration and all expire.
