You've successfully punctured the inherent hope of the essay with reductionism (we can debate the merits of personal empiricism and ontology another time), and replaced it with an element of basic despair and exclusion... Not to mention, removed any notion of metaphysics from the piece.

And so, it seems like we're back at reductionism, materialism and binaries again, which is precisely not where I or many of the thinkers in the original essay are coming from. Dismissing or denying the symbolic dimensions (metaphor or otherwise) of Bitcoin is too arrogant for my tastes; no, I don't need to "be corrected", bro.

Let the conversation turn and evolve; that is, so to say, spiral out.
