In corporate land, you can't just do things.

You need an IT ticket or to ask an auditor or ask legal or ask the board.

The gross inefficiencies are astounding.

You can sometimes just do things but the nail that sticks out the most gets the hammer. It's not a lesson you want to learn twice.
