Before knowing about Nostr, I used to use it.

The good part about DeltaChat, is that the encripted data keeps private, unlike Nostr, that everything goes public.

I always thought Delta chat was cool.

Basically just a different UI for email right?

The simplicity is sexy.

It's the easiest way to have encrypted but interoperable email setup for nontechnical folk.

The biggest flaw of DeltaChat, is IMO the fact that you cannot easily use PGP keys generated in Thunderbird. But it is still a great app.

You can. I did, although I generated them with GnuPG.

In #DeltaChat, go to settings > advanced > manage keys > import secret keys.
