Damned, as it seems my #Bitaxe Gamma is now kaput. 😧

It was never overclocked, with the fan always at 100%, and it's not a power supply issue. Looks like the voltage regulator gave up?

Any idea what to do? nostr:npub1ql2zzp3g6yndgz05js7wdc4qkr88wkyne5nw2cc7csrtzqs0yeesgwrxya nostr:npub1vwf2mytkyk22x2gcmr9d7ktprakh6llwpzxqlke8rlv5j0qyx2esf2lxtw

This might be only guessing what’s going on there but could be that something is drawing too much power, check the thermal paste and give him a gentle kiss

AND HERE WE HASH AGAIN!! 🤩 Thanks to nostr:npub1vwf2mytkyk22x2gcmr9d7ktprakh6llwpzxqlke8rlv5j0qyx2esf2lxtw

I was not expecting this to be a thermal paste problem, but it was. After disassembling the unit, reapplying thermal paste, and screwing down the heatsink really good, that #Bitaxe Gamma is running even smoother and at quite a lower temperature than before. 🥳
