FTX suppressed price and adoption. That showed up in court filings. The Bitcoin market is 100% being manipulated. Last cycle it was FTX, Celsius, etc. … this cycle it is Coinbase, Binance, etc.
Adoption of a digital technology is not the same as mechanical, supply chain heavy technology.

If I make an agreement to sell someone Bitcoin 20% below spot and we meet up in public and make the arrangements and we make the exchange. Am I manipulating the price? No.
Supply squeeze will happen to the market makers. The ones who are the oracle price setters will feel this pain eventually and be forced to sell at higher and higher prices but just because that squeeze is not happening now doesn’t mean it has to happen within an exponential growth timeframe, markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.
Private arrangements are not manipulation, it’s manipulation if things like spoofing order books, wash trading, or spreading false information affect prices
