The outcome of a recent report on phthalates in our food is bleak. If your groceries are packaged, it’s likely phthalates have seeped into the food.

Phthalates are the chemicals responsible for plastic’s flexibility. Health problems associated with phthalates are:

-increased thyroid cancer

-insulin resistance

-high blood pressure

-early menopause

-pregnancy loss and preterm birth

-degraded semen quality

-decreased testosterone

Reduce phthalate exposure, cut out the middleman. This means buying directly from farmers and ranchers if possible.

It’s 2024, let’s go back to buying directly from farmers

What about the ground beef packaged in plastic & sometimes Styrofoam?

They just didn't test that?

Does not mention specifically but maybe lower than some of the others.

I just linked the report if you want to take a look

Holy shit, those fast food numbers!

Big *insert industry* is here to help, shivering just thinking about it
