i think you mean

"if you hit the ground at terminal velocity, death is practically assured"

which isn't an "absolute" (like the abstract speed of light or Bitcoin supply etc),

its just consistent enough to be reliable.

and your window of survivability changes over time. so in what way can you call that "absolute"?

I'm not arguing pro relativism but theres a material difference between the tendencies you describe and what I'm talking about as "absolute".

I think, at that point, you are using the term “absolute” incorrectly, and thus, leading me to assume an argument you didn’t intend to make.

As for your example: “practically assured” sure. Make it into a spike pit. There is a describable real circumstance where there is no guessing—the person is just gone.

But it is the relativism I am trying to address.

I still think you are right on deflation, mind you (and, considering our current issue is INFLATION, deflation, therefore is the inevitable result of anything that solves the inflation issue).

use whatever word you like.

i think theres a difference between your "falling into a pit of spikes" and the inevitability of the hard cap.

I dont think its likely to turn out well for people try to force "Permanence" on natural systems like human exchange.

but mostly I was screwing around, maybe I'm wrong.

Fair enough. Sorry if I came off combative.

I see that phrase far more used in the hard metaphysical sense.

"everything is subjective" people piss me off too

Yep. In fact, I dedicated a whole sub thread of my last article to those types.
