This is why I keep a bat next to my bedroom door.

If you keep a baseball glove with it, it's not a weapon. It's a piece of sports equipment.

This is why I leave a toy steak on a plate with a knife next to my door. If its on a plate its a utensil and not a weapon 😂😂😂
