At this point for me personally I don’t buy anything unless I need it for the job. If it’s a paying job I just build that cost into my pricing and if it’s for personal work it just has to make sense. If it’s gonna save me 10 hours and it’s 80$ sure. If it’s 1200$ probably not. All that being said I have a solid stable of tools that can cover almost anything I want to do.

That’s pretty much where I am now also. I’ve got all the basics and then some covered, and I’m looking at the more specialty tools so I don’t have as much headache trying to accomplish something. It’s just always a struggle to decide what’s worth it and what ain’t, and also if it’s gonna be one of those tools you end up using all the time, like an oscillating multi tool lol
