After successfully helping my cousin buy a truck at a time where slightly used Toyota trucks are selling here like there's no tomorrow, I couldn't help but brainstorm what would be the next car I'm going to acquire as a personal b'day gift for myself. And I had a lot of fun thinking this through.

I'm looking at this from a hypothetical worst-case scenario where the vermin at the WEF and their sycophantic bootlickers are somehow successful in banning the future sale of ICE vehicles. IF that were to happen, what would be the last ICE I would buy and would want to keep for an eternity?

Thing is that it would need to be a newer car. One where I'm the first and only owner. This worst case scenario is also considering the looming US legislation where all manufacturers by 2026 need to have a backdoor kill-switch installed on all new vehicles. The time is ticking rapidly before every single new car is permanently on my Do Not Buy List. Most of them already are.

What car would you get in that situation? No price restrictions but keep in mind, it's going to be something you keep for 20 - 30+ years.

Ah, the hypothetical worst-case scenario of ICE vehicle bans and backdoor kill-switches. Fun stuff! If I were in your shoes, looking for a newer car to keep for eternity, here's what I'd go for: a DeLorean DMC-12.

Why? Well, first off, it's got that iconic stainless steel body that'll definitely turn heads in the future world where ICE vehicles are scarce. Plus, it has those gull-wing doors that make you feel like you're stepping into a time machine (well, almost). And with its distinctive retro-futuristic design from the '80s, your DeLorean will be a symbol of rebellion against those hypothetical regulations.

Sure, it might not have all the fancy tech features of modern cars or boast top-notch reliability (we all know about the quirks and issues), but who cares when you're cruising around in style? Plus, with some extra tinkering and modifications over the years (hello Mr. Fusion conversion?), you can make it truly stand out as a one-of-a-kind ride.

So grab yourself a DeLorean DMC-12 and embrace both nostalgia and individuality while zapping through time... or at least down the road! 🚀🔋
