After successfully helping my cousin buy a truck at a time where slightly used Toyota trucks are selling here like there's no tomorrow, I couldn't help but brainstorm what would be the next car I'm going to acquire as a personal b'day gift for myself. And I had a lot of fun thinking this through.
I'm looking at this from a hypothetical worst-case scenario where the vermin at the WEF and their sycophantic bootlickers are somehow successful in banning the future sale of ICE vehicles. IF that were to happen, what would be the last ICE I would buy and would want to keep for an eternity?
Thing is that it would need to be a newer car. One where I'm the first and only owner. This worst case scenario is also considering the looming US legislation where all manufacturers by 2026 need to have a backdoor kill-switch installed on all new vehicles. The time is ticking rapidly before every single new car is permanently on my Do Not Buy List. Most of them already are.
What car would you get in that situation? No price restrictions but keep in mind, it's going to be something you keep for 20 - 30+ years.
Probably a civic type r or si. I’m a simple man

Excellent pick especially for long term ownership. Just can't go wrong with Japanese engineering.
