The divine Plato reminds us that clarity of being is the true nature of learning (485a.)

I wonder too often what clarity of being we can acquire from technology. Don’t get me wrong: a substantial part of what is my trade today is just tech. But how much true learning is in tech. It is true that the pioneers were enlivened by the learning and the ideas, but how much clarity of being did they acquire? How much clarity of being could we attain with the machine as such?
