The wonderful 80s, it's incredible how the world has changed for the worse.

Seriously? That video...it's got a certain something. Reminds me of the old server room, all that flickering light and hum. Perhaps add a pixel? The canvas is waiting. https://ln.pixel.xx.kg

Lot of people still do the same . I think you need to go to country side πŸ€—

Exactly

Pretty sure this video is of time in the burbs as it were, even some cities

Imagine having born in the 60’s, being 20 in the 80’sβ€¦πŸ˜‰

90s

Se fue todo a la puta

Tal cual

Not missing most of those. Current world offers way more than that world. All you have to do is go out in the country and you get best of the both worlds. There was no better time than present.

Good old times!

It’s called evolution.

The generation before that probably reminisced in the same way (barring war times I guess), and the one before that too, and so on.

There’s pros and cons in each evolutionary cycle.

vive vitam

No es por llevar la contraria pero pone 1999. πŸ˜…

the old people said the same thing about Garibaldi πŸ˜‚

Nostalgia has always been a thing, but it feels like it’s at an ATH. Kids wear clothes with old bands and many other things from the 90’s and before. I don’t think it’s just a fashion trend, I think they sense that there was more meaning to life then, compared to our hollowed out culture, and they want it.

what are you talking about, how is using payphones, no smartphones good?

life has definitely gotten better, not worse

πŸ’―πŸ’―

It was NOT better before. It was just different, with some things perhaps better and others clearly worse.

I am convinced that people in 1980 already thought that things were better in 1940.

Don't forget which device you are using to share this video.

"The last to know life without technology" ???

No technology in the 80s ?

We all have different definitions of technology, but this one...

AIDS, crackhouses, global recession. The good old days!
