Always take a side.
You as an individual would need to know where you stand internally as well as the folks who surround you. Taking a neutral side does not end the conflict. If anything it allows evil to thrive due to the lack of resistance. Stand up and be heard.
Not every disagreement has a single right answer tho. It's ok to strive to see both sides, and choose your battles.
