I think at least in part some people just like being spoonfed content. Besides that maybe if search was better across the board.
Let’s see how the search will change it. It’s really will be interesting experience for me as well.
💯 I think it’s a big gap right now, especially in the client apps that people use most. Nostr.band has a decent search capabilities but you have to go to the website to use it and then manually copy and paste note IDs and npubs back into your social client. It’s just clunky.
Yea unfortunately I agree with nostr:npub1lrnvvs6z78s9yjqxxr38uyqkmn34lsaxznnqgd877j4z2qej3j5s09qnw5 . I think it’s like high school. Some people crave the flashy lights/drama/attention/drama/drama/drama/hand holding/drama. It’s like a drug. And we ARE being ‘spoon fed’ it fer sure. But damn if NOSTR isn’t a breath of fresh air.
No algorithm probably helps too.
And I have to recognize my own cravings for flashy lights & drama etc. too.
