Yupe it’s a big problem that most of the manufacturing takes place in a country that’s openly hostile towards Bitcoin.

Good news is we’re reaching the peak of Moore's Law (pre-quantum era), so now ASICs may become one of the only ways for companies to reduce the cost of specialized computations.
This might incentivize the manufacturing of ASICs beyond mining, fueling the decentralization of ASIC manufacturing.

Unless increased demand for other ASICs lead to chip shortages for SHA256 ASICs, then that would be bad news!
